Discussions on Implant Supported Overdentures

The patient wants a more effective maxillary restoration without any grafts or new implants and The only solution I thought about is an overdenture but I am not sure of the result as I do not have any implants anterior to the canine area and a large unsupported area #6 to 14.

Is there any way for me to buy the O rings and bulk and then change them myself?

My dentist extracted all 16 of my maxillary teeth last week. He placed an immediate complete denture as a transitional appliance. He wants to wait one year for the bone to heal before he places the mini dental implants.

During the healing phase immediately after the implant surgery, the patient loosened up the sutures by gargling very vigorously and using other oral hygiene techniques also with great vigor.

I have been doing mandibular dental implant supported overdentures for some time. My standard design is for an anterior bar supported by 3-4 dental implant fixtures. I use a central clip and 2 distal ERA or preciclix attachments.

Has anybody tried the new soft-hard reline material that replaces the need for O-rings or attachments with mini dental implants?

Everyone understands how wonderful a treatment for our denture patients implants are.
What is the feeling about connecting 2 implants with a bar or having them independent with an attachment, ball, ERA, or Zeiss Locator?
