I placed a dental implant into a healed extraction site to replace a maxillary central incisior. The soft tissue on the labial of this site has a small indentation or wrinkle similar to the rugae on the palate.

This created a very large defect in the labial cortical plate. I therefore decided not to place the permanent implants.

I started placing dental implants this past year using Noble Tapered Groovy and have run into issues placing them in my last two cases.

I recently placed 4 dental implants in the maxillary jaw. The panoramic radiographs I took before the procedure showed a 13mm vertical bone height in the left premolar area.
