Dr. Henderson asks:
I am just getting into implant dentistry. Right now I am just starting
to restore dental implants and we have begun to treatment plan for dental implants on
a selective basis.

But now I want to make treatment planning for dental implants part of our normal routine. I want treatment planning for dental implants to be just like any other conventional treatment planning.   What is the best way to let my current patient population know about my

dental implant services? Please leave any suggestions below. Thanks.

Just like you said: make treatment planning for dental implants part of your normal routine. When you present the options to the patients and they realize the advantages of implants over other options, it becomes just like any other treatment planning routine. Word of mouth will take it from there. Goodluck.

I have been in implant dentistry for 15 years now, and to be truthfull my patients are my best promoters so i would say word of mouth is my way to go.
    Good luck

To integrate implants into your practice takes 3 key factors I think. First you need to believe in them yourself and to convey confidence to the patient.Second if you are not placing the fixtures yourself you have to ensure the links between the surgeon, dentist technician and the patient are not a barrier to acceptance because the length of time is greater than if you were to place a bridge or removable prothesis.Thirdly accept that the lead time to integrate them is longer than most other treatments because it is new to you and to the patient and is usually more complicated to satrt and finish- so it may be 12-18 months before implant appointments regularly feature in your appointment book. Good luck, they are a great asset to offer your patients.
