Dr. Barry Wagenberg has been practicing periodontics since 1974. He maintains a private practice while continuing his roles as educator, researcher, author and lecturer. Dr. Wagenberg is tireless in his pursuit of excellence and continually attends and coordinates continuing education seminars. He serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Periodontology, is Director of Dental Education at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and is an Associate Clinical Professor at New York University Dental School. Dr. Wagenberg is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, the International College of Dentists, the Academy of Osseointegration, The American Academy of Oral Medicine and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Wagenberg has published numerous articles in addition to a textbook. His curriculum vitae is exhaustive.
