Title: Total Bimaxillary Rehabilitation of a Periodontal Patient using the All-on-4TM Concept – Standard Approach

Prosthetics: : Upper & Lower - MALO CLINIC Acrylic Bridges

A middle aged female patient presented with generalized severe chronic periodontitis. Her major concerns were the absence of several teeth and the mobility of the remaining ones. Her PMH is significant for smoking.

Orthopanmotography and CT-scan revealed generalized bone loss. The remaining teeth, due to the lack of support, presented with grade II mobility. Therefore, a plan was made to extract the remaining dentition - due to poor long-term prognosis -, and perform an immediate rehabilitation with a fixed prosthesis supported by 4 implants in each jaw.

Two MALO CLINIC All-acrylic bridges were placed on the day of the implant surgery and 6 months after, new acrylic bridges were made to ensure that the ideal phonetic and aesthetics parameters were achieved. The definitive rehabilitation was concluded by placing a MALO CLINIC Acrylic Bridge in each jaw, allowing for the restoration of the function and esthetics that had been lost.
