Course Description

The art and science of dentistry has evolved rapidly over the last decade. New treatment options, such as dental implants, that were not readily available in the past can be offered to our patients today.

Successful periodontal and dental implants treatment is no longer solely depending on infection control and osseointegration; achieving excellent esthetic outcomes is a critical component of treatment, and all members of the treatment team are important to provide the patient with a good treatment result. Periodontal and dental implant treatment present unique challenges for the clinician. Yet, achievement can be most rewarding.

In the course we will discuss diagnosis and treatment planning and predictable treatment modalities for patients with complex treatment needs. A variety of treatment options will be introduced and the treatment sequence will be reviewed to provide a successful outcome.
