Miami Live! Course Summary

This five part maxi-course is designed for general practitioners who would like to expand their office services to include implants. Participants will return to their practices with the clinical skills and confidence to complete implant procedures. Earn 80 CEU's through AGD.

Course Objectives

Computer-based treatment planning has led to quantum leaps in the art and science of implant dentistry. Clinicians can now make more accurate implant placements than ever before. After completing the course, the clinician will understand how to perform:

Dates

I. October 24 - 25, 2008

Lecture on virtual anatomy. Workshop on computer-guided dental surgeries. Introdution to implant systems. Participants will bring two cases for TX planning. Live surgeries.

II. November 14 - 15, 2008
Lecture on flap design, osteotomy sequence and implants placement on the aesthetic zone. Participants will place implants on pre-selected cases.

III. December 12 - 13, 2008
Lecture on surgical and restorative protocols on immediate loading of fixed provisional bridge. Participants will perform live surgery on their own patients.

IV. January 23 - 24, 2009
Lecture on modified sinus lift, ridge splitting, and bone grafting techniques. Live surgeries.

V. February 20 - 21, 2009
Indications and usages of mini implants for denture stabilization. Live surgeries.
