Osstell Mentor: Objectively Judging the Initial Stability of Dental Implants

Product Summary:

Despite the evolution of dental implants designs and surfaces it will always be you, the treating doctor, together with your patient, who makes the decision
when to load. It is a complex decision that involves not only the patients’ wishes and general situation, but of course also several odontological
parameters. One of the most important factors is the stability of the dental implant.

The degree of dental implants stability is hard to determine once the implant has started to integrate. Also, at placement, stability is difficult to judge
objectively and the "tactile feeling" or torque measurements will not work as a baseline for future comparisons.

Osstell Mentor makes it possible not only to measure the initial implant stability, but also to monitor the development of osseointegration over time.

In short, Osstell Mentor

1. Helps you decide when to load
2. Gives you early warnings
3. Helps you maintain a system for high quality at your clinic

It is powered by a rechargeable battery and is delivered with a measurement probe, a mains plug, a test block and manuals. The docking station is the communication unit for transferring measurements to your computer. It also serves as a charging station and holds the instrument when the measurement probe is used detached from the instrument, connected via a probe cable. The Data Manager is PC software that allows measurements to be transferred from the instrument to a computer via the docking station.
