The MIS self-tapping Seven Implants are specially designed for implantation in a wide range of bone types and bone augmentation procedures.
Their new geometric design includes dual threads, three spiral channels stemming from the apex, micro rings on the implants' neck, and a changing thread thickness along the implant. All MIS Seven implants are supplied with a single-use final-drill that reduces the heat produced during drilling, and results in improved osseointegration.
All MIS implants, excluding the Orthodontic and Provisional implants, share a total surface roughness in the boundary of 1.8-2.2 Ra microns, and a micro geometry of titanium, that is achieved by sand blasting particles and acid-etching. A larger surface area increases the bone to implant contact, resulting in more area for bone-cell attachment.
