As part of the UNC Bone Biology and Dental Implant Therapy Symposium, a limited attendance, patient-based demonstration tutorial will be offered to clinicians interested in learning the principles and procedures of immediate loading and placement of dental implants.

Thursday afternoon will be comprised of mandatory lectures and clinical treatment.

Live surgery demonstrations of three different immediate loading scenarios will be presented on Saturday.

An intensive tutorial is planned; supplemental reading materials, lecture notes and selected reprints will be provided to tutorial participants.

Each participant will directly observe patient surgical and restorative procedures. In addition, detailed case reviews will be used to reinforce patient selection, treatment planning, step-wise procedures, and problem solving. Careful attention to individual questions will be assured by a low student/faculty ratio. Therefore, attendance is limited to the fi rst 30 applicants
