This is a lecture and hands-on course developed for the implant dentist to enhance treatment planning. This course will start with the initial visit and follow the process to implant placement.
The course reviews the various modalities of surgical guide development, from the most simple to the computer generated. The participant will learn how to treatment plan a surgical case using computer simulation, how a guide is fabricated using the computer, and how to make other types of surgical guides when a computer generated guide is not available.
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:

*Describe when a particular stent may be appropriate

Dr. Berry Stahl is Assistant Professor at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York, N.Y. and Assistant Attending at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY. He is also Chief of the Resident Implant Program at St. Barnabas Hospital.

The Dental Implant Training Center is also equipped with a surgery room which is in full view to attendants taking a course.
