In this course, the integration of Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Orthodontics will be discussed in both the Diagnostic and Treatment planning phases for dental implants.
Treatment indexes to enhance communication between various aspects of treatment will be discussed.
The role of cutting edge cone beam computed tomography as well as interactive software will be examined.
State of the art hard and soft tissue grafting techniques will be discussed to establish the foundation for esthetic and functional treatment outcomes.
Implant placement and design technologies will be reviewed.
State of the art technologies in cad-cam technology and the important team approach with the Dental Laboratory Technician will be emphasized.

Dr.Yacker is both a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontics and a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics.Dr.Yacker has a private practice in Lawrence,NewYork.He is Clinical Associate Professor in the Ashman Department of Post-Graduate Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry.Dr.Yacker has lectured both nationally and internationally has published and is co-inventor on applications of thermocouple technology to measure heat during osteotomy site preparation.
