The 16th International Symposium in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Island of Kauai
January 12–16, 2009
Pre-Conference January 10, 2009
![]()
The 16th International Symposium in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery sponsored by the UCSF School of Dentisty continues its tradition of excellence by offering a current, practical, clinically relevant program focusing on techniques, procedures, and issues that address real-world needs of practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeons.
This year’s theme, Current Surgical Techniques: A Master Class by Acknowledged Experts, has allowed us to bring together in one location an exceptional group of internationally acknowledged authorities in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Each speaker has been asked to conduct a master class on the surgical technique for which he/she is best known.
We are offering an optional, limited-enrollment pre-symposium session. The educational session on Saturday, January 10, 2009 will offer a clinicopathological correlation program, facilitated by M.A. Pogrel, DDS, MD, FACS, and Richard C. Jordan, DDS, MSc, PhD, FRCD(c).
The symposium will span five morning sessions covering a variety of topic areas. Selected manufacturers and distributors of program-related products or services have been invited to exhibit at the symposium.
The 16th International Symposium in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery allows participants the unique opportunity to meet and mingle with acclaimed leaders in their field. In addition to the lively interactions that take place during course sessions, we have found the special relaxed atmosphere of the symposium encourages many opportunities for valuable exchanges during “off hours” as well. We hope you will join us for this outstanding opportunity for learning and rejuvenation.
