Cerasorb® M DENTAL, is an exciting development launched in the US in late 2005 to provide maximum porosity for better resorption in most dental procedures, including grafting before the placement of implants.
Cerasorb® M DENTAL features an interconnecting open porosity with micro, meso and macro pores (5 µm - 500 µm) and a total porosity of approximately 65%. The granules are polygonal, i.e. irregularly shaped, for better handling and better holding in the defect site.
The unique open porosity structure increases active cellular in-growth and improves nutrition while the rough surface further increases osteoconductivity. The result is rapid in-growth of local bone and significantly faster resorption time compared older ceramic products.
