But now Zimmer is addressing these challenges with the new Hex-Lock Short Abutment and Restorative System, designed to simplify the entire posterior restoration process by being both effective and easy to use.

With its shorter cone height, predetermined margins and off-the-shelf convenience, chair and preparation times can be significantly reduced. The restorative protocol is the same as our popular Hex-Lock Contour Abutment line, requiring no additional learning curve. And with color-coding to match the emergence profiles, you’ve got a system that’s simple, immediate and convenient.

Hex-Lock Short Abutments feature:

A shorter profile (4mm cone), specifically designed for the limited interocclusal space of the posterior, and predetermined margins to reduce or eliminate the need for preparations
Straight, continuous margins
around the abutment that allow for easy placement in
any orientation
Abutment collars that are contoured below the margin,
allowing space for soft tissue around the implant without
compromising strength or esthetics
An all-inclusive Short Abutment Restorative System that
