Experience the latest techniques and materials in the field of bone regeneration during this two-day lecture and hands-on workshop.

This course is intended for dentists who practice surgical and/or restorative procedures whether they are general dentists or specialists. Auxiliary members of the dental team will also benefit from this course when discussing procedures with the implant candidate.

Tuition:
$2500 per participant
This course is refundable 45 days before the start date of the course, less a 15% administrative fee. After that date, there is no refund unless the course is cancelled.

Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this 2-day course, the attendees will have an understanding of the following:

1. 3D analysis for patient education, treatment planning and surgical decision making.

2. Atraumatic extraction techniques.

3. Clinical and biologic evaluation of graft materials used for different indications.

4. Sinus augmentation surgery - osteotome and lateral approach.

5. Different techniques for lateral and vertical alveolar ridge augmentation.

Curriculum

Day 1

- 2D and 3D evaluation of teeth/jaws
- Ridge Split Techniques for narrow ridges
- Tooth extraction therapy lecture and hands-on:
socket preservation technique and materials.
- Hands-on models, BondBoneTM and grafting materiais
- Ridge augmentation with regenaform BondBone TM

Day 2
- Lateral approach sinus augmentation
- Hands-on sinus augmentation
- Narrow Diameter Implants for temporization
- Piezo for implant placement
- Osteotome sinus augmentation

About the Speakers

Ziv Mazor, DMD
Dr. Mazor is former president of the Israeli Periodontal Society. He is a graduate of the Periodontal Department of Hadassah School for Dental Medicine in Jerusalem, Israel, and has served as clinical instructor and lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate dental programs. In addition, Dr. Mazor is a clinical researcher
in the field of Bone Augmentation and Sinus Floor Elevation and is a well published author who has lectured extensively on these subjects.

Robert Horowitz, DDS
Dr. Horowitz is Clinical Assistant Professor in Implant Dentistry at New York University in the Department of Periodontics and Implant Surgery. He teaches nd conducts research in bone grafting and had lectured and published nationally and internationally on these topics. He has also performed research in bone grafting in sinus and deficient alveolar ridges, extraction socket augmentation and the placement of dental implants in areas of limited available bone.
