In this presentation, the presenter will show what is the current situation and treatment regarding sinus augmentation. The presenter will discuss what we know today as closed and open approach to sinus augmentation and also what type of grafting materials in these situations, and what types of implants to use in sinus augmention, and, what kind of surgical interventions we can offer our patients. The presenter will also discuss the future of Sinus Augmentation, which involves a minimally invasive balloon elevation approach. This will not only minimize the treatment time of the operator, but, also, the post-op will be reduced to a minimum for our patients.

Presenter: Dr. Ziv Mazor
Dr Ziv Mazor is a leading Israeli periodontist. He graduated from the periodontal department of Hadassah school for dental medicine-Jerusalem Israel where he served as clinical instructor and lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
Since 1993 Dr Mazor is engaged in clinical research in the field of Bone Augmentation and Sinus Floor Elevation. He is currently participating in the quest for improving and evaluating new grafting materials using various growth factors and utilizing innovative surgical techniques. He maintains a private practice limited to periodontal and implant dentistry in Raanana , Israel.
