This lecture covers the selection of prosthetic materials for restorations in the esthetic zone and focuses on the differences between metal-ceramic and all-ceramic restorations.
An in depth look at the various types of all-ceramic restorations will also be presented with clues on how to select the appropriate material for your cases.

Presenter: Dr. Stefano Gracis

Dr. Gracis received his D.M.D. degree in 1986 from the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia and, in 1987, from the University of Pavia, Italy. In 1990, under the guidance of Dr. Ralph Yuodelis, at the University of Washington in Seattle, he obtained the certificate in Prosthodontics with an MSD degree. He then returned to Milan, Italy, where he has been working ever since in private practice. He limits his activities to prosthodontics and restorative dentistry. From 1998 to 2004, he was a guest lecturer at the University of Parma, Italy. He is an active member to the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) and president of the Italian Academy of Prosthetic Dentistry (AIOP). He has contributed several articles in the field of restorative dentistry and is a frequent lecturer on topics related to fixed prosthodontics and implant prosthodontics.
