MALO CLINIC was established in Lisbon, Portugal in 1995 by Dr. Paulo Malo and has become the world’s leading center for Implantology and Fixed Oral Rehabilitation based on number of treated patients, the complexity of the treatments, and the magnitude of its clinic. Dr. Paulo Malo, together with his clinical team, developed the innovative concept known as the "All-on-4TM", which is recognized worldwide as a major revolution in the treatment of edentulous patients. In association with the refinement of this concept, several patented products were developed as well as many solutions relating to dental implants that are today commercialized by leading companies in the market. What started with a Dental Clinic in Lisbon is today a world reference as an international Health Group. In response to patient’s frequent queries regarding esthetics and well being, we began to develop other medical service lines and specialties. What emerged was our concept of a "Medical Spa"- facilities with a strong medical component for diagnostics, prevention, and lifestyle assessment, along with all the classic rituals and beauty treatments of traditional Spas. In recent years, we’ve established partnerships with international hotel groups of excellence, positioning facilities within or adjacent to them.
Currently, we are adding more medical and outpatient surgical specialties to some of these facilities, combining health and wellness services in a spa-like environment. One of our goals is to provide a high quality, complete health "check-up", using state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging and laboratory testing, all in comfortable and pampering environment, away from the often contaminated and aggressive setting of a hospital or similar facility.
