What is the difference between a normal tooth and an implant? What is the critical size? Why do implants avoid resorption, and give us more ethetic? How is it possible to do an extraction, place an implant, bone augmentation all in the same day, and have a beautiful esthetic. And, for a full year no resorption? Various special implant types will also be discussed.

Dr. Ophir Fromovich

Dr. Fromovich (DMD) graduated from the Medicine & Pharmacy institute in Bucharest, Romania in 1988. He is an implantology expert and has had a private practice in Petech-Tikva, Israel for the last 19 years. He holds the position of research associate at the laboratory of dental technology in the Periodontal Department of Hadassah School for dental medicine-Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Fromovich lectures extensively both nationally and internationally. In addition, Dr. Fromovich also conducts advanced implant courses and is the head of the International Center for Dental Education in Israel. He is an editor of professional literature and was involved in the development of software for dental implantology education. He has a regular column in a popular Israeli dental journal. He is a member of the following: German Association of Dental Implantology, International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), and the Israeli Association of Oral Implants.
