  1. dr.prakash.h.bhatia says:

I have used small MDI implants in two cses for lower denture. They are doing well since last five years.

  2. I use both Intra-Lock and 3 M’s MDI. small diameter Implants
Laterly I prefer Intra-Lock Mini’s , because I believe that the “OSSEAN” coating and the fact that the Milo is 30 % stronger than the MDI make it a better choice.

  3. Sean Regan says:

Regarding Dr. Cloet’s comment on strength comparisons of 3M and Intra-Lock small diameter implants: For a legitimate strength (fatigue) test comparison, the diameter of each implant being compared should be published. Please provide this data, as I could not locate it on Intra-Lock’s website. Thanks.

    for the implants.
I have them on the uppers and bottoms and love them, but i have to travel about 1 1/2 hours each way to change them “O” rings.
    Please Help!
    Thank you.
    Richard Nilles….

    • we can order them for you and mail them to you, but we still need to know what mini implant system your dentist has used. You can call them and find out and email us. We will be happy to help.

Having treated hundreds of these cases for eight years, you can remove the housings and impress for reline by lab over analogs with Versacryl, which is maintenance free and lasts three to seven years. Still need implants cleaned at least once yearly :-)

      • Love the forum. First time here, found you on Google search. My Mom needs a new lower partial and I hope to help her get one with the little implants. These seem very easy to get used to and less time consuming then the ones where “healing caps” are involved. I am an all ceramic technician but implants and overdentures fascinate me. Love being able to get information on my own time. Thanks smileartist for your input, it’s very much appreciated.
