Is there anything to the view that to achieve increased success in the placement of implants, the dentist should microsurgical techniques? This involves using a microscope and specialized instruments designed to support a microsurgical approach? Is this really different from a conventional surgical approach? This is supposed to be especially helpful in challenging surgical situations like sinus elevations or placing implants near anatomic structures. Is this specialized training worthwhile?

Normally, in the approaching of fine and delicate structures like maxillary sinus, low alveolar nerve,sub-lingual structures, arterio palatinal side,ecc, i use lactona magnifying dental loupe 4X.
For the simply drilling of a hole of 3 or 5 mm are not necessary particulary microsurgery instrument but only a very good know how and two firmly hands.
