Does anyone have any thoughts to share with our Canadian readers on Straumann´s recent introduction of its Bone Block Fixation system to the Canadian market?
According to the company: "Straumann® Bone Block Fixation is used to stabilize and fixate bone grafts and bone fill materials for the regeneration of bone in the oral cavity. The bone graft fixation technique allows for the placement of dental implants in sites previously unsuitable for implantation procedures.
Straumann® Bone Block Fixation is a reliable, simple and versatile solution and is ideal for private practice as well as hospital use. The compact cassette is easy to operate and maintain. The innovative screw holding device allows for easy pick-up, insertion and release of the mini-screws. Mini-screws are available in multiple lengths allowing for the fixation of bone blocks of varying dimensions."
Have you already used the Bone Block Fixation system? If so, what are your thoughts? In what situations have you used Bone Block Fixation?
One Response to “ Straumann® Bone Block Fixation ”
There are many block fixation kits out there and they all work pretty much the same.
I have not used the Straumann and I imagine the quality is very good but it is overpriced.
Predictable Surgical technologies carries a very good kit at a reasonable price.
