This is a two-day comprehensive course designed for the General Practitioner who would like to begin performing Implant Surgery. The course combines didactic lectures and hands-on clinics on Cadavers. Dr. Eli Raviv and his team will cover everything from Anatomical landmarks, Diagnosis, Radiology, Bone Analysis, Case selection, Treatment planning, Pharmacology, Surgical techniques and recent innovation and science relating to Implant Dentistry.
During the hands-on clinic the participant will have one on one interaction with the instructors and be supervised performing procedures from start to finish on the mandible and maxilla building their confidence and allowing them to bring this knowledge back to their dental practice the next day.
Dental team members are encouraged to attend the course in order to build an implant team approach, increase value presented to patients and increase case acceptance.
CE credits & Certificate are provided for the course.
Course Instructor: Dr. Eli Raviv
Dr. Eli Raviv obtained his dental degree from Tel-Aviv University (DMD, 1981) and his certificate in Prosthodontics from Hebrew University (1990) in Israel. Dr. Eli Raviv is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University, Montreal, Director of Prosthodontics and Associate Director of the Department of Dentistry at the Sir Mortimer B. Davis – Jewish Hospital, Montreal. He has received several awards: the Julius Michman Prize, London, England. The first prize for best presentation by the American Academy of Osseointregration, ODQ, Montreal and others. He is a member of the editorial review board of Quintessence International Journal. For the past 28 years, Dr. Raviv has been involved in teaching and research of implant dentistry. His work has been published in local and international peer reviewed journals
