3 Techniques for Sinus Membrane Elevation

Watch the Webinar Now!

The short clinical presentation, demonstrates the combination of three techniques for sinus membrane elevation. The techniques presented in this video include:
  • Hiossen safe sided drills to approach sinus membrane,
  • Summers osteotomes to compress the bone and elevate membrane,
  • Hydraulic sinus lift to approach and separate the mucosal membrane.

All of those techniques employed could be used as independent documented procedures or combined, as it demonstrated in this presentation. In this presentation implants were also placed immediately at the time of the sinus elevation and served as anchor part in the sinus membrane elevation process. However, immediate placement of dental implants is done at the operator’s discretion. Thorough preparation, hands-on courses, and hours of didactic courses are recommended prior to performing maxillary sinus augmentation procedures. Hi Dr. Massa, area#2 Hiossen safe sided drills, #4,5 Summers osteotomes, #13,14 round diamond bur and osteotomes. Mineralized cortico-cancellous Bone from here, mixed with PRF. The "gel" is PRF. There are combo of 3 different techniques: Summers, Hiossen and Hydraulique sinus lift described by Dr. Chen. I used them by described protocols, but now, here by elements which i feel comfortable. Depends on situation one can modify and adapt whats best or what works in his hands. In our courses we used all of these and more. Like for example piezo lift. Same with different grafting materials; bone or no bone, collagen with and without PRP, PRF and raw blood. If you have any questions, Please Regards mike
