Extractions and Immediate Implant Placement Using Autogenous Bone
This surgical video involves an 83-year old female patient with a failed upper bridge in the anterior maxilla. The patient was referred for dental implant treatment. The treatment plan was to remove the upper lateral incisors and canines, followed by immediate placement of four implants and a temporary prosthesis. Grafting of the site was done using a bone collector to harvest autogenous bone from the alveolar ridge. Allograft was then used over the autogenous bone.
