Mandibular Fixed Screw Retained Restoration

This video shows the use of a surgical guide for a mandibular fixed screw retained restoration. Includes pre-op CT’s showing the 3D planning involved, PRF preparation (graft is later mixed with PRF), extraction, flap reflection, and guide seating/fixation. Finally, osteotomies are prepared and implants are placed.

Check out the new Penguin RFA, which measures implant stability and osseointegration to enhance decisions about when to load.

Another beautiful case presentation by Dr. Mazor . What is your opinion on the risk of mandibular flexure to the distal fixtures by splinting the Prostheses distal to the mental foramen bilaterally ? I thought that was a no -no . Thanks .
