CEO of MegaGen Implants Interviewed on Korean Implant Market
Last Updated: Feb 26, 2012
There was recently an interview with the CEO of Megagen Implants on arirang, Korea’s Global TV.
We found this quote interesting:
There are 7,500 dental institutions in Korea that offer dental implants. Analysts predict that the market will grow to at least US$444 million, and that demand for implants will continue to rise. CEO, Park Kwang-bum, commented, “Dental implants were first introduced to Korea 20 years ago, and they were imported either from Europe or the United States. However, Korean patients found that they were having problems with imported implants, so I decided to try and create implants that were right for the Korean diet and lifestyle. Now, we are exporting MegaGen implants all over the world.”
