Patient with Metal Allergies: What are the options?
Last Updated: Mar 26, 2012
Dr. O. asks:
I have a new patient who I have treatment planned for implants. She presents with true allergies to vanadium, nickel, zinc and iron chloride. Are there any implant systems that I could use to safely treat her? Anybody have any ideas on how I can treat this patient?
