Adequate Bone Volume and Bone Height for Mandibular Overdenture?

Last Updated: Dec 12, 2011

Dr. T. ask:
I have a 70-year old female patient in excellent health who is treatment planned for a mandibular overdenture retained by 4-implants which I plan to place in her mandibular anterior region. Do you think I have adequate bone volume and bone height to do this? Where exactly should I position the implants? Do you think that a 70-year old patient is too old to have implants placed?
