Dental Implants in China: Any Comments on this Market?

I am doing a research project on the state of the dental implants markets in China and India. In the past on OsseoNews.com, a number of readers have described boom conditions in the China dental implant market. I am wondering if any dentists here can comment on these markets, like China, and the conditions that may be causing high growth. Is it still accurate to consider China a booming market for dental implants? What is the regulatory and legal environment like for implant dentistry in China vs the US? What are the socio-economic issues in China inducing demand for implants? Is the attitude of dental implant patients in China different than in the US and is it mainly just wealthy patients opting for implants in China or is the demand more widespread?

China has the largest population. Guess what - more clients. I need to tell u this. I visited India after a decade. Was exploring the malls. I saw a store that said "No guarantee and no returns on products made in China" :-)

I don't know much about China, but I have a few business friend that doing dental business in China. It's a pain with evrything from registering documents to the people. They work in the health profession but they acted as they selling fish in the market. And the list keep go on and on. But if people have patience and persistence anything would possible. that is the reason why most 1st world country want to have a piece of this pie. It's not easy. They can copy any technology that you invest into their country. Once they master it, they will try many ways to squeeze you out. These are what I get from my friend. think about it.
