Foundation Bone Filling Augmentation Material: A Good Choice?
Last Updated: Sep 29, 2008
Dr. F asks:
I am looking for a simple and inexpensive bone graft material. I have read about Foundation [J. Morita], which is collagen-based. It seems easy to use and inexpensive. All you do is fill up the socket. The surrounding cells and capillaries gradually infiltrate Foundation. Is this considered a bone graft material? Will this eventually produce the same kind of bone fill that I would get if I used an allograft material?
