AstraTech EV Bridge Screw Hex and Slot?

Can anyone tell me the indications for AstraTech EV bridge screw “Hex” and “Slot”? I am confused about when I should use the Hex screw and when I should use the Slot screw. I am not very familiar with this implant system. What are the indications for each?

I'd love to help but not totally sure what you are asking. As far as I know, they don't have a slotted abutment screw, only the hex. With a bridge on implants, you may be thinking about the abutment connection to the implant. If the bridge is a screw retained, one piecebridge, then the abutments should not have an indexing hex on them. They should be "non engaging" so that the hex does not hang up on the internal of the implant during seating.

The slot screw head is 1mm shorter but the hex screw is easier to use.
