Intralift Sinus Lift System: Any Tips?
Last Updated: Jan 24, 2010
Dr. A. asks:
I recently did an internal sinus lift using Piezosurgery and the Intralift system. The Intralift technique is the most conservative and least traumatic approach to lifting the maxillary sinus membrane and creating space for doing a bone graft. Water is injected into the sinus under the membrane and this lifts the membrane up very gently. The membrane can be lifted up to 10mm or more. I placed 10mm and 11.5mm into the sinus after doing the procedure and bone grafting. I would like to find out what the experiences have been with others using this system. Any tips? Run into any significant problems?
