Papillon LeFevre syndrome and implants?

I have a 25-year old female patient who presents with Papillon-Lefevre Syndrome (PLS, also known as palmoplantar keratoderma with periodontitis). The main features of PLS are hyperkeratosis of palms and soles concomitant with premature loss of primary and permanent dentition due to progressive periodontitis. There have been some reports of these patients being rehabilitated with implants. Have any of you had any experience with treating these patients and what do you recommend?
