Antibiotics after a dental implant: what are my choices?
Last Updated: Mar 13, 2013
If someone has an allergy to penicillin and can not take clindamycin—can erythromycin be prescribed instead of levofloxacin after 3 implants are placed?
What other antibiotics would be strong enough? I fear the side effects of levoflaxin—the ruptured tendon side effect, and so I’m wondering what antibiotics are options after implant placement.
