Full Upper Denture or Implant: Which is Better?

I am 65 years old. Upper jaw has only 5 front teeth left in fair condition. There is some bone loss through out. Can I have dental implant or is it better to get a full upper denture?

If the teeth are in relatively good condition with bone support and no mobility, then it may be possible to save them and have implants in place of the missing areas to complement it. Some times, due to complex bite issue or drifting of teeth causing poor position, remaining teeth are removed to make fabrication of a new and more ideal prosthesis supported by implants possible. The decision should really be made by your dentist after a complete work up and discussion of the pros and cons of both options. If the remaining teeth have less than 70% prognosis within 5 years, then it might be wiser to extract and plan a more long term treatment option.
