Sonicare: Can I Use this to Clean my Dental Implants?

The Sonicare is an excellent hygiene maintenance instrument. Focus your attention at the “gumline”. Use dental floss to clean the abutments and 0.12% Chlorhexidene rinses twice daily for periodontal health. I like use the Chlorhexidene and the Sonicare simultaneous, massaging the solution around the abutments to get the full peri-implant antibacterial effect. I’ve recommended this routine to patients for several years and it appears to be quite beneficial.
