What is the Maximum Bone Loss that Can Be Saved by a Bone Graft?
Last Updated: Nov 12, 2015
I have a front tooth, with bone loss of about 50%. Can I still get a bone graft that may save this tooth or have I already suffered too much bone loss?

Depends, if you have bone around the tooth with 3 walls you will get a stoppage of the bone loss. If you have 4 walls that surround the tooth you will get bone to regenerate to the level of the existing bone. There are certain factors that influence the outcomes, non-diabetic, non-smoker, good oral hygiene, and free of most pathogenic bacteria in the mouth. You should look for a general DDS ( as I do )that does alot of these procedures or a Periodontist.
good luck
