Purulent discharge and radiolucent area around implant: Advice?
Last Updated: Feb 19, 2018
I placed an implant at area 32(lower left lateral) with bone graft and clindamycin 300mg tid for 5days. After 2 weeks the patient started to feel pain. I have seen him again after 18 days and there is purulent discharge and a radiolucent area around the implant. I then did a slight irrigation and prescribed Augment 625mg tid for 7 days. What do you advise?
