Early Stage Scleroderma: any experience with implants?

I have a patient that has early stage of Scleroderma and doesn’t take medications for it yet. Just took steroids for 2 weeks about 6 months ago. Can we extract and place an implant placement on this patient? Does anyone have experience with patients with Scleroderma and implants?
Any feedback will be appreciated.

Yes, can work out well, though limited cases in the literature for singles and doubles...mostly just denture stabilization. I published an article a few years back as a case report: fixed implant supported rehabilitation of the partially edentulous posterior maxillary in a patient with systemic scleroderma:a case report. Implant Dentistry. Vol 25, no.1, pg 155-159. Feb. 2016

I've had great luck with these patients.

mixed results, some have worked out very well but MUST have plenty of gingival attachment.
