There has been considerable interest in using mesenchymal stem cells and pluripotent cells for bone regeneration. This is especially important for use in stimulating bone regeneration in extractions sites. This may have great use in immediate implant fixture installation. Do you think this will become a useful tool in the future? What about applications to bone regeneration in periodontal disease of natural teeth? Are there any disadvantages to this kind of therapy?
