Cracked molar adjacent to implant molar: best treatment plan?
Last Updated: Feb 17, 2014
Hi,
I am really struggling on what to do. I went to see about an implant for No. 19 and the dentist found a crack running on the inside of No. 18 to the gum line. He said he couldn’t do the implant on 19 with the current state of 18 and is recommending a fixed bridge from 20 to 18. I am not sure what other options I have, as I am not really comfortable about sacrificing the good teeth with the bridge work. Can I just get the cracked repaired and still get the implant? What is the best treatment plan here?
