Dangers of mini implants in the upper jaw?
Last Updated: Nov 25, 2014
I have had mini implants in my lower denture for several years and it works beautifully, no problems whatsoever. I would like to have the upper denture fixed with mini implants as well. My dentist has advised that it is dangerous to have the “pegs” put in the upper jaw because of the danger of invading the sinus cavities and thereby causing infection of the brain. what are your thoughts on mini implants in the upper jaw?
