Drinking Alcohol and Dental Implants: Do They Mix?

Last Updated: Nov 10, 2015

The short answer is yes, yes, yes.Drinking before is detrimental, it reduces your healing abilities, affects coagulation, etc...Drinking after increases the incidence of complications after implant surgery.Read this post from an implant dentist for more details: http://www.osseonews.com/consumption-alcohol-leading-to-implant-complica...Good luck.Carlos Boudet, DDS, DICOI
