Low Occlusion: Is it possible to get mini dental implants?
Last Updated: Nov 25, 2014
Is it possible to replace two missing lower jaw teeth – second premolar and first molar, with mini dental implants if the dentist told me that I have low occlusion? I have enough bone for mini implants but because of a low bite and since I am not willing to make any radical procedures to raise it I refused the idea of putting regular implants. Can I use mini implants either for two single teeth restorations if I have a low occlusion or just for bone health to prevent bone atrophy (wearing dentures for 2 teeth on the top)? My bone quality is quite good. Also what about positive cases, 5 years and more of successful single tooth replacing with mini implants, that can be read about? By the way what about my second question when I ask if it is possible to insert mini implants into the gum and bone just to prevent bone atrophy without any crown part? Is it a solution for bone atrophy prevention?
