Taking Prolia for Osteoporosis: Can I Get Implants?

My dentist wants me to have four mini implants for my upper denture. I take a shot every 6 months for osteoporosis the drug is called Prolia. Can I have this procedure done?

Osteonecrosis of the jaw has occurred with patients on Prolia therapy. It is a human IgG2 monoclonal antibody and it suppresses bone turnover. You should not have any elective, invasive Oral Surgery performed while on Prolia.Theodore M Grossman DMD
