This is my first hand experience. The main reason why few patient's in Europe are inclined towards zr implant is ,due to their belief in other alternative medicines, like kinesiology, balancing the energy, effects of metal ions on other parts of the body ( basically adverse effects) etc. The teachers of that science and their students, patient, strongly believe in their science with clinical evidence. Hello Val, This is the first ZERAMEX XT with one year restorative follow up. ZERAMEX has been evolving the 2 piece design of metal free ceramic implants for 12 years. ZEEX XT is the most recent release into the US market. The precessesor is the ZERAMEX P6 - Same ceramic material, same VICARBO screw, same roughened surface treatment(acid etch and sand blasted). The P6 has over 5 years worldwide and 2+ years with US FDA approval. This case was presented as the first of the new XT design.
