How to prepare sticky bone with PRF?

Can someone please explain how sticky bone is prepared? Is the bone graft mixed with the PRF from the yellow tubes? So would you typically draw 2 red tops and 2 yellows?
Thanks

Specifications for preparation for sticky bone will depend on which centrifuge you are using and which protocol you are following. So I assume, you may get several different answers here. However, in general terms, sticky bone is simply the application of PRF liquid (or i-PRF) to graft material. Liquid PRF is best created using plain plastic tubes with no additives (is that the yellow top?). The red top is usually the plain glass tubes, which are used for creating a PRF membrane/plug, not the liquid. Using, plain plastic tubes, Choukroun's i-PRF protocol is 700 rpm / 4mn for a male (for his type of centrifuge, other centrifuges will obviously differ). However, there is an A-PRF liquid protocol, which uses the red glass tubes, and is 1300 rpm / 5mn (on Choukroun's type of centrifuge). I don't think you would want to mix the different tubes up in the machine at the same time, as you will get different results in the different tubes, and different RPM/Time is indicated depending on which tube you use. Simply decide if you want i-PRF or A-PRF liquid and then use the tubes indicated. It is all a bit confusing. Some of the protocols are covered here: PRF Centrifuge FAQ

There is also a new protocol for Sticky bone, if you are using Choukroun's centrifuge and vacuettes. You can now use S-PRF vacuette (green plug) for liquid PRF. The advantage is that you draw blood in A-PRF and S-PRF vacuettes, and centriphuge everything together on the same protocol, 1300 rpm x 14 minutes. When spining is finished, you get clot in "red" A-PRF vacuettes, and liquid PRF in S-PRF vacuettes. You mix some grafting material with a whole S-PRF liquid, and add exudate from presing A-PRF membraine, and you have Sticky in about 3-5 minutes. You can even control if you want stif or less stif Sticky by adding more or less S-PRF. Hope I helped, Tanja Milosak, DSD
