My crown implants are too big and make my lower left side of my face look rounder, can they be made thinner?

I had two implant crowns put on my lower left two molars and one on my upper right canine. They are all bigger than my original teeth and as a result, make my face seem larger on one side. Is there something that can be done and what would be the approximate cost? Maybe it’s not worth doing anything about if the price would be too high. Would it be advisable to have the same dentist do it? They used ez megagen dental implants and rescue. Thanks for your help.

In the molar region, an oversized, larger than normal crown cannot make your face look rounder, sorry. The crowns can be made smaller or thinner so that they look the same size as your natural molars. If by big you mean longer, that means you lost bone and the gums shrunk so now the crown looks longer. I cannot tell you whether you should or should not go back to the same dentist. If you are doubtful maybe you should go for a second opinion. Only a dentist that looks at your mouth can get enough information to offer one. Good luck. Dr. Carlos Boudet
